The Life Project currently operates as:
• Independent kitesurfing instruction service
• Experience-based instruction by qualified instructors
By participating in our courses, you acknowledge:
• Kitesurfing is an extreme sport with inherent risks
• Weather conditions can change rapidly
• Physical injuries are possible despite safety measures
• Water activities carry inherent dangers
• Must be able to swim at least 50 meters
• Must have valid health insurance covering water sports
• Must follow all safety instructions
• Must disclose any medical conditions
Participants agree that:
• Participation is entirely voluntary
• They accept all inherent risks

• Full rescheduling rights with no additional charge

HEY THERE, FUTURE KITER!
Your safety is our top priority. Here's what you need to know to have an awesome and safe experience with us.
The Basics:
✓ Can you swim? You need to be comfortable in water, at least you have to be able to 50 meters
✓ Are you generally fit? No need to be an athlete, but basic fitness helps
✓ Any medical conditions? Let us know - we'll adapt accordingly
✓ Bring your enthusiasm - we'll handle the technical stuff!
What to Bring:
• Swimwear and sunscreen

• Positive attitude!

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES - WHAT TO DO WHEN
A. Water Emergency
Step 1: Stay Calm & Signal
• Raise one arm straight up if you need help
• Cross arms over chest if you're OK but need break
• Wait for instructor's acknowledgment
Step 2: If You're With Equipment (Instructor will advice you how to use it)
• Release kite using quick release (red handle) if necessary
• Keep hold of board as flotation device
• Stay with equipment unless instructed otherwise
Step 3: If Separated From Equipment
• Float on your back
• Make yourself visible
• Follow instructor's signals
B. Medical Emergency
Step 1: Alert Instructor Immediately
• Use emergency signal (crossed arms above head)
• Shout "HELP" if close to shore
• If on beach, send another person to instructor
Step 2: Basic Response
• Stop activity immediately
• Move to safe area if possible
• Follow instructor's first aid directions
C. Equipment Emergency
• Activate safety release system (demonstrated in training)
• Clear yourself from lines
• Signal instructor
• Maintain floating position
